Where This Wide-Trim Downlight Works Best
FST-HY-HC01 is a fixed recessed commercial downlight for shopping malls, airport terminals, hotel lobbies, exhibition halls, atriums and large retail areas. Its wide trim covers the ceiling opening clearly, while the deep reflector produces concentrated downward light.
Six sizes range from 10W to 80W. The 55W and 80W versions are intended for larger spaces and higher mounting positions, but final selection should be based on a lighting calculation rather than wattage alone.
How to Select the Size and Power
| Project condition | Selection guidance |
|---|---|
| Standard commercial ceiling | Compare the 10W and 15W versions with 90 mm and 110 mm cut-outs. |
| Retail store, lobby or exhibition area | The 20W and 30W models provide higher output with 135 mm and 165 mm cut-outs. |
| High ceiling or large public space | Review the 55W and 80W versions using the actual ceiling height, spacing and target illuminance. |
| Focused downward lighting | The listed 24° beam should be checked for coverage and overlap at the planned mounting height. |
The wide trim can help cover the edge of the opening, but the correct cut-out and ceiling depth still need to be confirmed before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the purpose of the wide trim?
It creates a clear visible border and helps cover the edge of the ceiling opening. The opening still needs to match the specified cut-out range.
Is the 80W version suitable for every atrium?
No. Ceiling height, room dimensions, target illuminance, beam angle and fixture spacing must be calculated before selection.
How much ceiling depth does the largest model need?
The 80W version measures Ø280 × H250 mm and uses a 250 mm cut-out. Additional space is required for the driver, wiring and ventilation.
Can the input voltage be customized?
Yes, according to the listed product information. Confirm the destination market, voltage range and driver before sample production.
Can I order a sample?
Yes. A sample can confirm the cut-out, depth, beam effect, light color, trim appearance and driver configuration.
