Lighting Solution By Area
This project is located in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China and combines tea retail display, tea tasting, decorative presentation and exterior building lighting. Because each area serves a different function, the lighting was selected by zone rather than applying one fixture type throughout the space. The project uses recessed LED downlights, recessed spotlights, retractable spotlights, indoor LED strip lights and waterproof outdoor lighting to address display brightness, visual comfort, color rendering, accent lighting and environmental protection requirements.
Recessed LED downlights for clear product display
The tea display shelves required stronger general illumination so product packaging, shelf surfaces and information could be seen clearly. This area uses recessed LED downlights with a 75 mm cut-out, 12W power and 4000K color temperature.
The final fixture quantity and spacing also depend on ceiling height, shelf positions, surface colors and the target illuminance. Wattage alone does not determine the finished brightness.

Warm recessed spotlights for a comfortable hospitality atmosphere
Most tea tasting and reception areas use recessed LED spotlights with a 75 mm cut-out, 10W power and 3000K warm white light. Compared with the 4000K lighting in the display area, 3000K creates a warmer setting for tea tasting, conversation and customer reception.
The spotlight positions and aiming directions need to follow the seating, tables and viewing angles to reduce direct glare and avoid excessively bright spots on the tabletop.

Retractable recessed spotlights for adjustable accent lighting
The decorative wall uses retractable recessed LED spotlights. The fixture body can extend from the ceiling and be aimed toward wall details, displays and selected visual features.
Beam angle, distance from the wall and aiming direction should be coordinated with the wall height, display size and material reflectance.

CRI90+ lighting for tea products, wood and decorative materials
The interior contains tea packaging, wood finishes, furniture and decorative materials, so color rendering was an important project requirement. The main indoor fixtures use CRI90 or above, while the indoor ceiling LED strips use San’an LED chips with CRI92+.
Higher CRI supports more natural presentation of product colors and material textures. However, color rendering should still be considered together with CCT, optical distribution, illuminance, surface materials and installation position.

Indoor Linear Lighting with IP20 LED Strip Lights
The indoor ceiling uses IP20 LED strip lights installed with aluminum profiles and diffusers. The profiles provide an organized mounting structure, while the diffusers help soften the appearance of individual LED points.
Strip dimensions, wattage, thermal conditions, profile size and shielding depth should be confirmed before installation. IP20 strip lights are intended for the dry indoor areas in this project and should not be used where exposure to moisture or rain requires a higher protection level.

24V IP68 waterproof LED strip lights for outdoor areas
The exterior uses wall lights, ground lights and 24V IP68 waterproof LED strip lights for architectural outlines, circulation areas and decorative exterior features.
The 24V low-voltage system and IP68 construction were selected for the specified outdoor positions, but an IP rating alone does not make an entire system suitable for every environment. The LED strip, connectors, end caps, power supply, controller, cables and connection points must be protected according to their actual installation conditions. Drainage, heat dissipation, maintenance access and applicable local electrical requirements must also be considered.
