Where This IP54 Downlight Is Best Used
FST-YX-DLXLD is designed for humid indoor ceiling areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, covered balconies, washrooms and hotel rooms. Its IP54 configuration provides protection against dust ingress sufficient to prevent interference with operation and against splashing water.
IP54 does not mean the fixture can be submerged or exposed to direct water jets. The installation zone, local electrical requirements and actual exposure to moisture should be checked before selection.
How to Select the Size and Power
| Project condition | Selection guidance |
|---|---|
| Small bathroom, washroom or compact ceiling zone | Start by checking the 10W model, Φ84 × 70 mm, with a 75 mm cut-out. |
| Medium bathroom, kitchen or hotel room | Compare the 15W model with a 90–95 mm cut-out according to room area and fixture quantity. |
| Larger humid indoor area | Review the 20W model with a 120–125 mm cut-out after checking ceiling height and lighting layout. |
| General lighting requirement | The 60° beam provides wide coverage; confirm spacing to avoid uneven brightness. |
| Smart or building-control project | Confirm ON/OFF, Tuya, 0–10V or DALI before sample production. |
Fixture quantity, spacing, ceiling height, surface reflectance and target illuminance should be considered together. Send the floor plan or room dimensions when model and quantity support is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this downlight be used in a bathroom?
It is intended for humid indoor areas, but the exact bathroom installation zone and local electrical requirements must be checked before selection.
What is the difference between IP54 and IP65?
IP54 provides a lower level of water protection than IP65. Select the rating according to the actual installation zone and exposure to moisture or water.
Does it support dimming?
ON/OFF, Tuya, 0–10V and DALI options can be discussed. The required method must be confirmed before sample production.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes. A sample can be used to confirm the cut-out, installation fit, CCT, CRI and selected control configuration.
