Where This Cold-Forged Downlight Works Best
FST-OCSPBM254 is designed for hotel lobbies, shopping malls, supermarkets, showrooms and other commercial interiors with standard or higher ceilings. Its deep reflector helps shield the light source, while the 40° beam provides broader coverage than a narrow commercial spotlight.
The black heat sink is made from 1070 cold-forged aluminum with dense vertical fins. Five sizes cover power options from 9W to 70W and cut-outs from 75 mm to 175 mm.
How to Select the Size and Power
| Project condition | Selection guidance |
|---|---|
| Standard retail or hospitality ceiling | Compare the 9–13W and 18–25W models with 75 mm and 95 mm cut-outs. |
| Medium commercial area | The 30–40W model uses a 125 mm cut-out and should be checked against ceiling height and spacing. |
| Large lobby, supermarket or showroom | Review the 40–50W and 50–70W versions after confirming target illuminance and circuit load. |
| Broad commercial coverage | The 40° beam should be matched to fixture spacing and mounting height for even illumination. |
The cold-forged housing supports heat transfer, but operating temperature still depends on actual power, LED source, driver, ambient temperature and ventilation above the ceiling.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the benefit of cold-forged aluminum?
The manufacturing method and fin structure provide a continuous aluminum heat path and a large external surface. Actual thermal performance must still be checked with the selected power and components.
Does the deep reflector remove glare completely?
It reduces direct view of the light source, but comfort also depends on mounting position, ceiling height and the viewer’s location.
Which power should I choose for a high ceiling?
The larger 40–50W and 50–70W versions offer more output, but the correct choice requires ceiling height, area, spacing and target illuminance.
Is Ra98 available?
Yes, according to the listed options. Confirm CRI together with CCT, LED source and driver before sample production.
Can I order a sample?
Yes. A sample can verify the cut-out, depth, 40° beam, glare comfort, color quality and thermal configuration.
